Wet Slips
Podickory Point Enjoy easy access to the wide open waters of the Chesapeake Bay at Podickory Point, a privately owned yacht club. We are located less than a mile northwest of the Sandy Point lighthouse, and are surrounded by the state-owned nature preserve acreage of Sandy Point State Park. Once you've cleared our 75' access channel, you are on the bay. We have various forms of wet slips including hoist slips which keep your boat out of the water when you wish. All wet slips come with reserved parking to ensure you have a good parking space close to your boat. (Click Here to register and get more information) Wet Slip rental agreements come with a full year Yacht & Beach Club membership. This membership allows family members access to all of the facilities. You also receive discounted rates at Boat US for parts and membership. See the main office for details. Environmentally, we're doing our best to keep the Bay safe and clean. We have a pumpout station on site; cost is very reasonable. We aren't a work yard, but you'll be able to bring your own mechanic on site, provided they have proper liability insurance. Security is a paramount concern at Podickory Point Yacht & Beach Club. We are a gated facility, and access is via a card reader. Non-members must dial up the office to be admitted. Please arrange with the office during normal business hours if you would like to visit our facility. Your Boat and Your Family - will love this bayside home!
